Gilbert Creutzberg, amateur musician, plays on his 1931 Bechstein grand piano, one of Frederic Chopin's 52 Mazurka. Recorded 2//3/2015. Gil came to love those piano pieces since he was 16 years old. He heard them performed by the Dutch pianist Cor the Groot, still regarded as one of the greatest interpreters of Chopin's Mazurkas. The beauty of the Mazurkas endures and never fails to create a deep awe for Chopin's musical genius to this day. Playing this wonderful music makes me feel like a fool rushing in where angels fear to tread.
